Wounded Warrior Wednesday

In honor or Wounded Warrior Wednesday I'm going to honor Adam!!! He was in a roadside bomb on April 28th 2005 in OIF III in Iraq serving with the Idaho National Gaurd. He sustained injurings from shrapnel to his eye, thigh, and calf. He also recieved bruises and burns from shrapnel on his arms. The events of that day for me when he called me are vividly formed in my mind. As they are for him too. It was a very sad day as a friend of his SGT Kiser was killed in this explosion as well and 3 others wounded. I'm gratefull everyday for his sacrifices that he has made in serving our country. He is a true blooded hero to me as are all those who serve. I'm very blessed to have this wonderfull man in my life still this day. LOVE YOU ADAM!!

From these injuries he was awarded the Purple Heart on July 4th 2005 along with 10 others who were wounded prior to this day. Two of which whom were wounded with him were sent to Germany for advanced care.

For those you know have been wounded in combat. Take time to honor them and thank them for thir sacrifices!!!

  1. Ouch! Holy cow that would be so scary. As for your question we signed Luke up for Mon and Wed. Since Kevin has meetings on Tues. and some Thurs. That would be fun if they were together. Thanks for asking.
