Learning how to inhance Photos

I have been trying my hand at inhancements on pictures. I haven't got it all figured out yet, but I'm making a good attemp at it. So far I have been pleased with what I have learned. I'm loving it!!! This was the first picture I started with. It is Yellowstone National Park back by Old Faithful. Its called the Castle. It is one of my favorite Gysers.

Stokes Nature Park

For our outdoor activity I took Keplar and Kyly to Stokes Nature Park in Logan Canyon. It is up by 2nd dam. It was a blast. I am so lucky to get to have the greatest kids ever. I love watching them discover new things and truly enjoy the simple things of life. I was hoping to see more bugs and crawling things but alls that we saw was a butterfly and a awesome spider web. I have also been trying to figure out the finess of photography and have been teaching myself how to capture differnt shots and play around with inhancements. I'm getting the hang of it, but definatly and amature. I think I'm going to look into some classes on photography. Anyways, I thought it would be fun to take the kids out and talk about the outdoors and all the things that are in them. Heavenly Father made everything for a reason. Especially the outdoors to enjoy. I wanted to teach Keplar and Kyly those reasons when the opprotunity arrived and have fun while doing it. :)

Sock Puppets

Today we made sock puppets. We each designed our own. Keplar made his a dragon. Kyly's was a princess and sense that was the theme mine ended up being Sir Mommy the Knight. Then we made up stories for them. We each ended doing three stories to play along with. It was fun to make them and helped the day pass by a little faster. For family night today we are going to use them in our story.

Mediterraenan Sea and Rome May 15th - June 2nd

Just like I promised I have pictures!! Adam's expierence aboard a Navy ship wasn't his favorite. "Boring" he says. But he did get to enjoy a paid vaction to the Mediterranean Sea and Rome which he absolutly loved.

Sunshine in May

Earlier this May we got to enjoy some sunshine and the ducks down at First Dam in Logan Canyon. The grass was green and the fowl were active. It was nice to go there as a family and enjoy some time outside together. Keplar and Kyly loved it. This was the first time I had ever been down there. Now it is one of the kids favorite places to go and play.
